They Already Have the Calling.
Across the world, thousands of pastors, evangelists, and missionaries are faithfully serving Christ with little or no access to formal biblical training.
Many preach every week without a theological library.

We believe national pastors should not be overlooked
simply because they were born in a place where biblical education is inaccessible or unaffordable.
We also believe effective ministry training must address more than the classroom.
A pastor may receive excellent biblical instruction, but if his family is struggling to survive, he may eventually be forced to leave ministry simply to provide for them. That is why our approach combines biblical education, practical ministry preparation, personal discipleship, and vocational development.

More Than a Classroom
Many have never had the opportunity to sit in a structured Bible class. Some serve churches while working long hours simply to provide food, housing, and basic necessities for their families. They carry the responsibility of shepherding God’s people while facing challenges most ministry leaders in developed nations rarely experience.
Yet their desire is often remarkably simple:
Teach us. Train us. Help us better understand the Word of God.
That is why The Tentmakers Institute exists.
Our responsibility is to equip them
We want pastors to become stronger students of Scripture, stronger leaders within their churches, stronger providers for their families, and stronger trainers of the next generation.
Instead of removing pastors from their communities, we invest in them where God has already placed them.
They already know the language.
They already understand the culture.
They already love their people.
They already have relationships within their communities.

The goal is not dependency.
The goal is strength.
When one pastor is strengthened, the impact reaches far beyond one individual.
His family is strengthened. His congregation is strengthened. Future pastors are trained. Churches are planted. Missionaries are sent. Communities hear the Gospel.
This is why we invest deeply in a small group of faithful men with the desire that their influence will multiply throughout entire regions and nations.
Training Pastors. Reaching Nations.
